Double header - 2 brides + 2 "Tim"s
Last weekend we had the opportunity to be part of 2 very different weddings in 2 days. To say the least, Stelly and I were exhausted after these 2 weddings and used last Sunday to rest our tired feet (try being on your feet for close to 10 hours total!). We didn't get a chance to rest much on Monday since there were a couple of e-sessions we had to do, but all in all it was just great having the opportunity to hang out with the wonderful couples. We apologize if we've been slow in replying your e-mails for the past few days, it's not that we've forgotten you but we've been busy like beavers.

Coincidentally, both brides had one thing in common (besides being married) - their husbands share the same first name. Without further ado, let's go into the first wedding.

Dana & Tim's wedding was held at the beautifully decorated Royal Mayfair Golf & Country Club. Their ceremony was witnessed by a lot of family members and closed friends, and although the weather wasn't cooperating, the couple didn't let the rain spoil their wedding.

Next, we have a couple from Vancouver, Bibiene & Tim. Bibiene's from a Filipino heritage so we had the chance to witness a few interesting Filipino cultural dances (pics below) during their reception at West Edmonton Mall's Fantasyland Hotel. Bibiene showed such patience throughout the day that although some things were running behind schedule (a common occurrence in weddings) she never let the delays get to her. Anyway, the day started out slightly cloudy and during the bridal preparation the sun came out strong so we thought we'll have plenty of good weather for their formals.

And thanks to Alberta's unpredictable weather, a sudden thunderstorm (with hailstones too) started within 30 minutes of the formals! The entire bridal party ran into their vehicles for cover, and we waited out the storm. After the storm stopped, the weather was simply beautiful, there was sunshine and blue skies! It was definitely by God's wonderful grace!

During their reception, Bibiene's family members decided to present the couple with some cultural dances. First off it's the "Maglalatik" (my favourite!), which is a dance where the dancers have coconut shells attached to their body.

We also saw the "Binasuan" (Waterdance). How the dancers managed to not drop their glasses of water is beyond us!

We extend our congratulations and thanks to both couples for sharing their day with us. God bless!

Trisha & Vincent
Last weekend's wedding was such a fun shoot that we're reminded of how blessed we are to have such a fun couple to hang around with on their wedding day. Trisha and Vincent's playfulness and love for each other totally humbles us, and we're awed with how compatible they are as a couple. There was just so much love between the both of them during the ceremony that you could literally feel it in the air. :)

This little dog was such a cutie, adorable and willing "model" for us during Trisha's bridal preparation.

The start of an action, crazy and fun-filled formals with the entire bridal party. Thanks, guys and gals for being such willing "models" for us. If you're not sure of what's happening here, Vincent's checking out his brand-new wife.

And Trisha's checking out her new husband. Gotta love Vincent's best attempt at being a male supermodel. :P

Trisha's playfulness made it really easy for us to capture her fun and out-going personality. We totally love working with couples with so much raw energy!

There was just so much joy and laughter throughout their wedding day that it's so easy to capture this photo of Trisha's reaction to a speech by her father-in-law.

Congratulations, Trisha & Vincent!
