Cher & Reshad
Last weekend we had the opportunity of photographing Cher and Reshad's wedding at the Rafter Six Ranch outside of Canmore, Alberta. We first met Cher when she was one of the bridesmaids at her sister, Chantelle's wedding which we posted back in June. A cool and easygoing couple, mountains, horses, beautiful ranch architecture, great family fun, an awesome ceremony, and snow (in the middle of September!), what more could we ask for in a wedding?

Cher's cool cowgirl boots

A unexpected snowstorm turned the area white overnight, but we praise God for parting the clouds to show us the beautiful Canadian Rockies!

The lovely couple with their magnificent horses.

Cher's dad, Gary having fun during the dance. :)

We'd like to thank both the groom and bride and their family for letting us be part of their special day. Cher and Reshad, may God bless you both in your marriage and also in your service for Him.

Sarah & Ben
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
as Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be.

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

(Thomas Chisholm 1866 - 1960)

The words above form part of the lyrics to the awesome hymn sung during Sarah & Ben's lovely wedding ceremony last Saturday, and coincidentally it's our favorite hymn too! The words totally describe God's great faithfulness to not only our beautiful couple, but also to all of His children.

This was the moment all their family and friends were waiting for!

It was just so easy to capture their great smiles throughout the day. Kudos to their laid-back personalities!

Let the reception games begin! This game involved blindfolding Ben and making him guess whose lips were Sarah's. :)

Censored Kodak (or should I say Canon?) moment...

Congratulations Sarah and Ben, and we wish you both the very best in your life together in Toronto!

Diana & Warren
We had the pleasure of spending last weekend with Diana & Warren for their beautiful wedding in Saskatoon. It was both our first time traveling to Saskatoon, but by God's grace He brought us to the places we needed to be at safely. We also had the opportunity to work again with a fantastic couple from Edmonton, Tim and Kathleen from Crush Pictures.

Let's move on to some of the fun and fabulous photos we captured during the wedding.

Touching up

The bridesmaids played a few games on Warren before they allowed him to see Diana. They made four different drinks, each was either hot, sour, sweet, or salty. The bestman decided to take one for the groom.

It obviously did not taste very good

I guess it's against the law to stop traffic in downtown Saskatoon for some bridal party fun

Just kidding ... This kind Saskatoon Police Officer was just playing around with Warren and Diana, now that they are handcuffed together they can never be separated :)

During the reception the bride was blindfolded...

and had to guess which bum was Warren's

One of the other antics going on during the reception

Congratulations, Diana and Warren and thank you for sharing your beautiful day with us!
